The Elkhorn Relay has transitioned to a 1-6 man, 1 day event.

Each racer will get to run their last leg on a trail in the

Elkhorn Mountains.

Here are some estimates as to when teams will be starting, running and finishing. Official start times will be sent out a couple weeks before the race but you can use these to start planning. 

Teams running 10:00 minute/mile average:
- Approximate Start Time 5:00am
- Approximate Finish Time 7:30pm

Teams running a 9:00 minute/mile average
- Approximate Start Time 7:00am
- Approximate Finish Time 7:30pm

Teams running a 8:00 minute/mile average
- Approximate Start Time 8:00am
- Approximate Finish Time 7:00pm

Teams running a 7:00 minute/mile average
- Approximate Start Time 9:00am
- Approximate Finish Time 6:30pm

Past Race Results

Elkhorn Relay Cancellation Policy:

When life happens and you're unable to make it to the race, here are a few deadlines.

​

* For a full refund, Doomsday Racing must be notified by email before May 1 of the year in which you're registered to race.

​

* To roll your race over to the next year, Doomsday Racing must be notified by email before June 1 of the year in which you're registered to race. 

​

* If you need to withdraw from the race between June 1 and 7 days before the race, we can offer you 50% of your paid race fee applied towards the following year's Elkhorn Relay.  Again, Notification must be made by email within the allotted time. 

​

* Cancellation or withdrawal 6 day prior to race day - you forfeit your race fee and your ability to roll your registration over to the following year. 

​

What happens if WE have to cancel

* In the unlikely event we are forced to cancel, you will have the choice of 50% cash back or 100% applied towards the following year's Elkhorn Relay.
